On April 29, 2010, Munroe Regional Medical Center's Intensive Care Unit unveiled the Tree of Life with a ceremony honoring families of Munroe's patients who donated tissue and organs so that others might live.

Munroe's ICU Tree of Life
Today, more than 100,000 children and adults await life-saving organ transplants in the United States. More than 3,000 of them are in Florida. You can make a difference in their lives by becoming an organ and tissue donor.
If you are not ready to make a decision about a donation today, please consider the facts: one organ donor can save up to 8 lives; one tissue donor can enhance the lives of dozens more and each day, 18 people die in the United States due to the lack of organ donors.
