Roxanne Hollenbeck is the Munroe Foundation Administrative Assistant
Retire in the SNOW? No WAY!!! 24 months ago this was a key conversation Hollenback shared with her husband of 25 years. A quick review of possible retirement locations included Lady Lake, where she has three sisters and her mom. Relocation to Central Florida was pretty easy. Roxanne and her husband enjoy the warm weather and relaxed environment of Central Florida.
A native of Rhode Island, Roxanne moved to Southern Florida during childhood, graduating from Coconut Creek High. Part of her high school curriculum included two years of focus on law enforcement, and led to her first job with the local police department working the midnight shift, and doubling up as court clerk. She has also held jobs in retail provisioning and ordering, and bookkeeping.
She moved back north to New Hampshire and lived there for 25 years with her husband. Her daughter has recently been blessed with Hollenbeck's first grand-baby.
Working as the Munroe Foundation's Administrative Assistant has been a new career for Roxanne. In her role she works with the Director in preparing the budget, posts contributions, works with the hospital accounting department on monthly financial reporting, processes bi-weekly employee pledges, donations, and community gift club renewals, prepares deposits and reporting them to the accounting department, and works with the Coordinator of Systems and Development on processing purchase orders. She is enjoying the great people and the unquestionable sense of contribution working toward providing benefits to Munroe.
She enjoys being with her family, biking, landscaping and yard work, jigsaw puzzles, day trips and the beach.
